No. 7403, SOLID CARVED SITKA SPRUCE TOP and single HRW Humbucker, Original hardshell case included, with hang tag.
The "MH" indicates the back & rims are actual Honduran Mahogany, kiln dried and carved of solid billet wood. The top is also solid & carved (not plywood) of gorgeous Sitka Spruce & X-braced w/ a single vintage range gold cover HRW humbucker. This is a sweetheart setup for a Jazz style archtop, and it was beautifully crafted in the historic Parsons Street shop in old Kalamazoo- by the original Heritage folks. * Real Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish
* All solid woods- neck/back & rim is Honduran Mahogany, the fingerboard & compensated bridge are Indian Rosewood, top is solid carved Sitka Spruce. Neck is Honduran Mahogany.
* 16 inch lower bout width/ 2.75 inch rim depth/24.75 inch scale length/ 1-11/16th inch nut width
* 20 medium jumbo nickel-silver frets. NO fret grooves.
* Hand bound & lacquered curly Maple pickguard, finishes to match.
* Cream color bindings. Bound neck & peghead
* Grover gold Rotomatic tuning keys
* Heritage "H" tailpiece, gold plated
* End Pin input jack/strap button. there is no strap button at the neck joint BUT we'll install one on request at no additional charge.
* Excellent setup & playability (note- we can PLEK this one on request at a deep discounted price ( $179), but it doesn't seem to require it at present. Plays great!
This wonderful Heritage is no longer in the Heritage line-up, but it "should" be. Such a great archtop, with all the right stuff. Grab this one. It's VERY near mint condition, and from a smoke free, climate controlled home--A fine "sounding" and fine looking archtop, from the world's most experienced archtop carvers, with a rich, warm "woody" traditional archtop tone. The Honduran Mahogany is "warmer" than the standard Maple version.
