No. 8499. Includes mint cond. original black Tolex hardshell case. This gorgeous "rare" premium Eastman is very close to "mint" condition, except for some very slight weather checking- not much actually.
This is a discontinued and rarely seen model, sought after by those who are familiar with its superior tone and projection. It features a high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish with a solid Englemann Spruce top and solid flame Maple back and sides. This guitar has a woody tone with lots of depth and clarity. The carved arched back on the guitar has no bracing which makes for a lightweight guitar and allows for increased resonance. The craftsmanship is top notch and the fit and finish is very good. The flame maple on this guitar is stunning and is nicely book-matched on the arched back. This Eastman is on par with many high-end American acoustic guitars at a fraction of the price.
Overall, this guitar is in great condition and has no visible fret wear. There is the original pickguard in the case, which is a peel & stick, and never installed. The case key is also in the there. The neck is straight and the action is factory medium, allowing for ease of playability.
