No fret wear or fret buzz up and down the entire neck. Now about the voice - this is a very balanced archtop that is even more impressive to play. Some archtops are designed to be amplified to create the classic archtop tone - they sound a bit dead and flat without pickups.
This is not the case for this acoustic New Yorker archtop. Great Jazz sound that can be crisp when played with a thin stiff pick or smoothed out when played with a thick fat round pick. Shift your position towards the neck and let fingerstyle bring out the overtones and harmonics. Setup to perfection. Aria always made exceptional instruments, and this is their most premium model.
Production period between 2009-2011 (there is no interior label). Comes with a heavy plush hardshell "D'Aquisto" logo case as shown.
