The Oregon, USA crafted Quartz KF features SOLID carved Big Leaf Maple back, sides, and neck, and a Sitka Spruce top. A strong sounding instrument, with a rich and thick tone, lots of chop and ring out. Has some minor finish wear, although no scratches nor dings. Frets show some wear but it plays & sounds terrific. This is a beautiful sounding Mandolin. Considering prices for American made mandolins these Breedlove's are a bargain indeed.
