Overview
The iconic H-150 features a solid carved figured maple top and mahogany back, with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays on a mahogany neck. Seymour Duncan '59s provide the rich, warm tone that today’s players love. PLEK'd at the Kalamazoo shop for precision frets and excellent playability.
Crafted at 225 Parsons Street, Kalamazoo, this model includes a curly maple top, genuine mahogany back and neck, and a nitrocellulose gloss finish that ages beautifully. A rosewood fretboard and classic trapezoid inlays round out this timeless design.
The H-150 is equipped with Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers, wax potted to reduce microphonic feedback. It delivers a warm, thick tone with impressive sustain — ideal for nearly any genre.
Finer features include a Tune-o-matic bridge (or optional Vibramate with Bigsby B7), custom CTS pots, Elixir Optiweb strings, and a premium case.
Seymour Duncan ‘59 Humbuckers
These vintage-inspired pickups offer classic bridge tone and a thick, buttery neck sound with unmatched sustain. Built to capture P.A.F. character with modern clarity, they’re perfect for rock and blues.
Bridge Pickup (SH-1): Vintage output with an airy, open sound, alnico 5 magnet, and vacuum wax potting. Bright top end and a slightly compressed feel.
Neck Pickup: Warm, full, and slightly scooped mids for open chord clarity. Boosted highs for better pick attack. Designed to pair perfectly with the SH-1 bridge.
All Seymour Duncan ’59s are wound on the classic Leesona 102 machine — the same model used in the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, MI, where this Heritage guitar was made.
