This is a pre-owned Strat, designed in the USA Custom Shop, made in Mexico. Alder body and gloss maple neck. In fact the only things NOT vintage is the flatter, more comfortable and faster 12” radius neck, and the medium jumbo frets.

One of the biggest design changes to happen to the Strat in the early 60s was the introduction of the C shaped neck profile. This slimmer neck design was an instant success, and the C shape profile is still the most popular neck design on modern Fender guitars. The special features on the Classic Player 60s Strat include upgraded '69 pickups, a "Custom Shop Designed" neckplate, a custom two-point vintage bridge (never before offered outside the Custom Shop!) and a 12" fingerboard radius.
