The finish is "real" Nitrocellulose lacquer, and other Wolfe features include- Long Neck tenon, TonePros bridge & stop bar, S. Duncan's "killer" '59 vintage range humbuckers with nickel plated covers, CTS controls, real Mother of Pearl inlays, AAA Indian Rosewood fingerboard with 12 inch radius, 17 degree peghead angle, Grover keys and a fine black Tolex logo hardshell case. So beautifully hand crafted to our specifications in the historic Parsons Street shop in old Kalamazoo- by the world's most experienced makers of this style guitar. Pickguard is included and installed on request. Holes are not drilled.

While these vintage style coils give the 59 Model humbuckers an airy quality that keeps them planted firmly in the PAF family, the alnico 5 bar magnet, and vacuum wax potting have been added to compensate for lighter guitar strings and louder amplifiers than were ever used in the 50s. The result is a pickup with tons of old-school tonal character, but with a brighter top end, and a more compressed sound. The 59s are great for all types of rock and blues. As with all of our PAF style pickups, the 59 Model is wound on Seymour’s original Leesona winding machine from the early Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, where this Heritage H150 was made, for that unmistakable vintage mojo.
