No. 0913, includes original deluxe Heritage hardshell case. This custom made instrument is in very near mint condition, with no: scratches, dings, fret wear, minimal surface swirl marks (almost none really). sh from a smoke free, climate controlled home collection. Only thing keeping us from designating it "mint" is the original owner, who had it built custom through our shop, is that he had 2 strap buttons installed so he could use 1 for seated playing & the other when standing. It has a fine setup & we installed a fresh set of Thomastic Infeld 12 gauge flatwounds. This is an "amazing" custom Super KB and Kenny hand signed the label when it was built. These are as rare as rocking horse poop, especially with this complement of custom features & KB's hand applied signature on the label.......................and in this like new condition!!
Features for this top of the line model, which was Heritage's most expensive Guitar when made, include:
* Special ordered with 22 frets instead of the standard 20 frets. This is the ONLY Super KB with this feature which was plus $475 when it was ordered
* 18 inch lower bout width, 3 " rim depth
* Florentine cutaway, ala Kenny Burrell
* dual HRW Heritage Rendall Wall humbuckers. Same as Kenny's Guitars.

* Ebony wooden pickguard with multi-ply binding.

Note- the guitar's label says it has Seymour Duncan 59 pickups. This is one of those rare Kalamazoo mistakes. They smell GLUE all day long!!
Heritage currently do not offer this model instrument. The KB models, of which there are 2, were initiated by our own Jay Wolfe & designed by Jay & Prof. Burrell at the 2004 NAMM show. Jay still has his own new, unplayed Super KB which was made right after Kenny's Prototype and Jay's is stamped "001" and a Chestnutburst with a single HRW humbucker. That special Super KB can be had for $15,000. This gorgeous Blonde Super KB is priced below market value and it is a fabulous Guitar in every respect.
