No. 9844. Includes original hardshell case with tags & booklet. This commemorative Bass is right at mint condition at 1st glance...BUT...there is some light buckle rash on back. Not deep and not heavy, but it's there. Kinda a relic starter kit.
The SG Special 2014 120th Anniversary GG Bass with it's timeless tonewoods and a versatile pairing of pickups present solid punchy tones from this 30" scale length Four sting. Made famous by Jack Bruce of Cream. While an innovative T-Bird Three point bridge and Grover Shamrock tuners anchor it all down. It has a solid Mahogany body in the iconic double-cutaway SG style with a glued in short scale Mahogany neck carved to a comfortable slim profile. It has a Rosewood fingerboard, 20 jumbo frets and add the 120th Anniversary banner inlay at the 12th fret, and it comes with a Gibson Hardshell case in excellent condition. This SG Special bass looks every bit as gorgeous as it feels & sounds!

This special lightweight bass is a short scale with a 30” scale length and is equipped with a Gibson T-Bird humbucker plus in the neck position and a T-Bird mini humbucker in the bridge. Other features include Grover Shamrock tuners and a Gibson 3 point bridge. A typical Gibson construction of Mahogany for both the body and neck has been selected for this guitar to give that familiar warmth and sustain Gibsons are revered for. The neck has a thin profile which is really comfortable to play, this is further enhanced by the treatment from the Gibson PLEK System which allows the nut and neck settings to provide the best possible string action. The pickups feature Alnico 2 magnets in the bridge, ceramic in the neck, delivering warm sounds with clear highs in solos and a solid foundation in the mix. Each pickup has its own master volume control and a master tone controls the overall tone. Brand - Gibson Model - SG Special. It's a VERY cool Bass!!
