The working players Lefty L5CT style, so beautifully crafted in the historic parsons Street shop in old Kalamazoo- by the world's most experienced carvers of fine archtop instruments- The original Heritage guys.
More than a quarter-century old and so well-cared for that some would call this a true classic from the heyday of the Heritage shop in Kalamazoo, when it was owned by former Gibson employees.
The Heritage Eagle Classic TDC ("T"hin body...."D"ual humbuckers......"C"utaway body) is a one-off "custom" single Venetian cutaway, all solid wood construction hollow body guitar with a thinner body (2.25") than the standard Eagle Classic. The Heritage Eagle Classic TDC is often described as having a vintage archtop look and feel, and is very similar to the highly collectible George Gobel L5 CT model Gibson, with a focus on premium craftsmanship and balanced tonal depth, making it suitable for jazz guitarists, and others that love a fine instrument.
It features a solid carved Sitka Spruce top, bound f-holes, and a bound African Ebony fingerboard- with optional mother of pearl block inlays (The standard Eagle Classic has no inlays). It has dual top-routed Schaller vintage type humbucker pickups and gold hardware. The original Heritage case shows a few scuffs, but is in very good condition. Here's a more detailed breakdown:
