This is a beautiful hand carved LEFT HANDED Arched Top Guitar with a solid Adirondack Spruce top and a HIGHLY FLAMED HAND CARVED BACK, fancy Five piece neck with quarter sawn TIGER MAPLE and MAHOGANY with Tasteful position markers in abalone. Stinger headstock and nice heel (wide and flat). Superior CRAFTSMANSHIP and attention to detail. Inlays and fit on the fingerboard are perfect with great frets. Comfortable D shape neck and 1 3/4 inch Bone nut. Grover imperial tuners in good shape w/o oxidation (only slightly tarnished/worn). Gibson 57 Classic pickup with very usable Volume and Tone. This Blonde beauty is similar in design and performance to later Dangelico's and similar hand-built US made finer Jazz style instruments.

Solid Ebony Carved Bridge and Tailpiece, accurate intonation. I believe the body is hand tuned to “C” as it has an affinity for extra smooth tonality in that key (and all others). As with a jazz guitar at 25 years old, it has some scars but not a shabby mess. Some very light lacquer checking in spots in the top/back only adds some character and superficial, nothing major at all, just full disclosure. The hand bound Ebony pickguard has a cleated, repaired & stabile crack.

Some binding separation is common but it is not major and is solid. 9 ply binding and bound neck, if you like to play jazz, it is super sophisticated in feel and tone! NO ISSUES with neck set and pin straight with super strong hand fit joining. Body rim is 3 1/4“ and done in a beautiful curly maple. It truly is a beautiful piece and ready for the player. We’ve included a lot of high resolution pictures to capture most of the guitars looks. Can’t take a picture of the sound but it is Johnny Smith like. Phenomenal projection from the Adirondack Spruce with a tight straight grain on the hand carved top.
