No. 0049. Includes original case. We just PLEK'd this gorgeous Blonde in our shop and it plays better than when new.
The toneful L4 looks similar to a ES175, BUT the 175 is pressed plywood and the L4 has a solid carved Spruce top! BIG difference!!
This '64 Gibson L-4C in natural finish - beautifully aged to a stunning honey blonde- is in Very Good/Excellent condition. The neck is typical 60's slim. Original owner had a DeArmond pickup with Volume and Tone professionally installed. The pictures will show a couple of minimal chips/dents in the finish as well as some light finish checking, but otherwise the condition of the body is immaculate. It Plek'd really nice and we installed some .013 gauge nickel roundwounds. The neck is very straight with an easily adjustable truss rod.
When installing the pickup, tone & volume controls were added along with a rim input jack. Nicely done and functioning.
Comes with the original hardshell case!
It has been inspected, Plek'd, polished, setup, play tested, and is gig ready! The DeArmond sounds GREAT!
This wonderful condition and superb playing L-4 will appreciate in value as you enjoy her.
