A clean and very nice condition Heritage H-137. The 137 has a slab body of actual Honduran Mahogany, real Nitrocellulose lacquer finish and Lollar P-90’s. All the best stuff that make these the absolutely best and most vintage sounding slab body’s made. This one has a beautiful Tobacco Burst finish that reveals all the Honduran Mahogany grain so nice.
This vintage tone machine shows very little use and almost no play wear. These always came from Kalamazoo with some surface swirl marks in the Nitro and this one has a minimal amount of that as well. It includes the factory hardshell case with case keys & bridge adjustment wrench, hang tag & warranty card. The frets are in excellent condition. The setup plays like butter
Heritage Specifications
The H-137 solid body guitar is for players who want a simple guitar that screams good tone. This model has a solid one-piece genuine mahogany body construction that gives this guitar a desired warmth in tone. Combined with the throaty growl of the Lollar P-90s, this model has a unique place in any situation, whether you’re playing live or in the studio. It is also great for players looking to play rock, country, blues or punk and not compete with other single-coil or humbucking guitars in the mix.
From the Lollar web site:
Our flagship pickup and an industry standard. Scatter wound with de-gaussed Alnico 5 bar magnets, the P-90 soapbar gives you a fat, clean tone with a smoother treble ideal for harder, driving rock with more grind. It sounds like an old P-90 rather than a new pickup with hard edges.
The neck and bridge tones are nearly equal, with the bridge sounding slightly hotter when playing single notes. Pickups can be purchased separately or in matched two or three piece sets. RWRP sets for hum-canceling operation with single conductor and braided shield lead wire.
