This is Guild's top of the line single cutaway archtop with triple bound f-holes on a solid carved Spruce top, seven ply fineline bound curly Maple back and sides with a triple bound ebony fingerboard enhanced with fancy block inlays with a triangle intersection.
The headstock also features the engraved large block Artist Award inlay which is bound in very delicate 9 ply binding.
The tuners are pearl button deco style tuners. (Grover Imperial
The guitar has a DeArmond style 1100 floating archtop pickup with input jack nicely installed into the fancy engraved harp-style tailpiece.
The guitar is completely original and has no cracks, breaks or repairs.
The compensated bridge is Ebony as is the fingerboard.
The guitar shows very little play wear on the fingerboard and frets.
For a guitar that is almost 50 years old, it is in immaculate shape.
The guitar plays free of buzz or fretting out up and down the entire neck.
The nut width is 1 5/8" on a slim 5 piece neck.
The guitar is parallel braced with long slender solid braces tucked nicely into the linings.
It is an instrument of exceptional quality.
Included with the guitar is a plush blue-lined firm fitting Excelsior hard shell case.
